if you can bear white, CRC stans olympics £34 and some lx hubs, best bang for buck possible.

I have WTB speediscs on at the moment with WTB hubs. The only thing is I don't know how much they weigh, and I can't really be assed to take them off and strip them down to weigh, so I don't really know how much of a weight saving I will get, which is the main reason for buying a new set.

To save 100-200g doesn't really seem worth buying a new set for £200. How much would I have to spend to save some good weight?

I've been looking at a new wheelset myself and had pretty much decided on hopes/crests but cant quite bring myself to spend the £300+.

Those black flags are very tempting but apparently the freehubs get damaged if you dont use a high end cassette. Can anyone confirm this?

Hope freehubs are bad for that too, you pays your money, you take your choice.

I'm soon to be selling a hope pro 2/mavic 717 wheelset this weekend as I'm picking up a 29er and these are on my current 26in bike that I am selling.

Pretty much new with about 250 miles on them max. Red hubs/black rims. After £180 collected .

As for wheels though I find these a great set up and would only ever use hope hubs now

Yeah I had looked at these. Doesn't say how much they weigh though.

I've got a set of Roval Traverses for sale. They're 1580g, have DT Swiss 240 internals and are considerably tougher than most XC wheels. £175 posted. Let me know if they fit the bill. Again, only selling due to a move to 29".

I'd get Al's £34 Olympics with some A2Z hubs if you want light. Be under 1400g, and only just over £200.
