Just seen mention of this on Facebook - road.cc and Bike Radar's first look at the new titanium Tripster. As a [s]big[/s] huge fan of the current model (just come back in from a very pleasant night ride on mine) and rapidly approaching a certain age, I've been hunting around for an option of a frame to splurge some cash on. I think I may just have found it.
There are a couple more pics on STW's news pages about it, but you won't find it in the search as it's been spelt 'Trypster' for some reason, and no real mention of it in the article.
The headtube, full carbon tapered forks, disc mounts and seatclamp look lovely, it's got a proper threaded BB and according to the BR article, pricing around £1500 which I'm hoping will be a module like they did for the original alloy ones.
Put an EBB in there and it would give me everything I've ever wanted from a Swiss Army knife bike :O)
Have an ali one at present and it's rather lovely. Big 700x35 tyres on it for rolling over every pothole I miss on my night rides.
Hopefully they might manage a carbon fork where the guards can fasten under the crown in production so it looks right.
