Next ones will be when it's finished ๐
Is that putty holding the tubes together?
Curtis XC by any chance? I really like the brazing on those T45 frames.
I hope it's not going to be Kawasaki green... ๐
I thought Curtis too

What's wrong with Kawa green?
R979 is close but no cigar
Is that an X-Lite Fly? Nice!

Is that an X-Lite Fly? Nice!
Yes it is.....the nicest looking stem ever and has matching X-Lite G Force bars too
Sweet, not seen one of those in ages, were always real nice.
Waves at fellow Curtis Buddy.
Love my SX.
Waves back.....mines a freeride ๐
I have a red x-lite fly, last time I posted a pic of a bike with fitted on here everyone slagged it, funny how things turn around
Eye Ken I have seen your frame in the past I was tempted to buy it when you had it for sale.
But it would be too big for me as I like my frames small. (16"Soul,16"Alpine 160 and my SS Curtis SuperX)
Looking forward to the complete build pics.

I have a red x-lite fly,
Is it still red or has it gone a bit pink?
Still red last time I looked
Fancy selling it?
I wasn't part of the earlier Fly slagging. It was one of two stems I always wanted back (ITD) when I couldn't afford them. A bright blue Ringle was the other.
Nowadays I run a Thomson, which is about as dull a stem as you can find. Ironic really.
Ha ha, no plans to sorry ๐
Might stick an ad up on retrobike then ๐
I would still slag it rocketdog. I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder but that stem is in no way good looking.
Damn, I was going to say freeride but I went with the lesser spotted XC.
Ken, not sure how to tell you this, but the top tube, seat tube and seatstays seem to be stuck together with masking tape... ๐ฏ

Lenny is cool.
That's one of the "long" ones (90mm IIRC)
Mine is only 70mm
