After deciding to sell my Capra (good bike, liked it, just didn't love it) I picked up the Bronson 2 weeks ago.

I've had a few rides on it now, and so far so very bloody good. It's very well balanced, has that endless travel feeling that VPP gives, but the surprising thing is how well it pedals, Climbs exceptionally well, even with me on board. 150mm front and back, I had bought a 160mm airshaft for the Pike, but tbh I don't think I'm gonna bother.

With the capra I had clear delineation between it and my Spectral 29, the Spectral was better at covering the ground efficiently, but felt a little 'spindly' on the steep rocky stuff that I love riding.

That delineation has now gone, the Bronson (now christened Brawnson!) is quicker without a shadow of doubt, despite having slightly draggier tyres.

Looks like the Spectral will now be relegated to manky local nightrides only....

Nice bike.

You could ride in these and still not get toe overlap ๐Ÿ™‚

Eh? the presence of any kind of Gradient at all entirely rules out Craufurdland! ๐Ÿ˜€

It's a new trail a couple of us built near Fairlie last month.

I think I meant demarcation... Too early for me yet.

Ton, it's actually not very bright in real life, decribed as slate blue. It's XL btw, you're welcome to try it!

Great bike, although Its taken me a few rides to get used to it. I had a Bronson 1 before this and that felt right straight from the get go.

Haha! Aye that was a bugger, Instagram just don't seem to let you back on once you've been hacked either. Bastids.

Binners, this lawn's a bit better, though the path edges need done...

Don't say that Dave,

Mine was a crash replacment after I chipped the downtube ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

I would recommend getting one of these Rock Guards. I put one on and its already saved the BB area from some pretty big hits.
