In the pursuit of having something racier and deviating from the usual steel framed build I picked up a used FF29 frame around Christmas.
I say used not that you would have ever said that was the case based on its condition ๐
Its evolved a bit since its original build ..... 120mm SIDS rather than 100mm X Fusion Slides, ditched the Schwalbe tyres in favour of some bargain OO Vittoria offerings.
1x11 XT set up with a few lightish bits. Currently about 25lbs.
Considering its material its actually quite a comfy frame. Its not really an XC bike though as I can hear it whispering "fit a wider bar and fatter rubber" which I am trying not to listen to!
I could do with it being a longer frame.
This will be my main MM bike this year.
Flame away ๐

Really? That is a lawn?
(subtle BTW, I quite like)
I'm taking it you mean mile muncher by MM?
Mine wears 2.4 tyres and a 750mm flat bar if that helps justify any purchases ๐

@matt - local Country park ........ my lawn is immaculate ๐
Nice. Do your tyres say "peyote" though?

That'll teach me to think in terms used on my riding buddies whatsapp group!
For what it is worth, I was out on my mile muncher when I typed my reply actually. Very nice ride it was too - except for 7 miles into a headwind ๐ฏ
