..... when I say new I mean new to me 😉
Loving restored 1993 Diamondback Axis Pro.
Full XTR
Its over on Retrobike but thought it might be fun to put a couple of pics up here too 🙂
Still some tweaking to do but will have its maiden voyage at the weekend 🙂
sometimes retrobikes do it for me, that on the other hand looks like a cheap student hack destined to be left outside in the rain.
(feels a bit bad about slagging off your pride and joy...)
why have you got sea defenses on your drive?
its an old DB so it counts as reet nice
Makes a refreshing change to the usual restored Kona. It gets my thumbs up!
where's the horse?
Steed 😆
Nice, I always like the first edition XTR stuff - looks great.
I keep forgetting how long and low everything was 20 years ago, it's amazing that we didn't endo over everything around with stems like that.
Cheers folks.
RRP back in 1993 was a rather dizzy £1440!
How it would have looked 🙂
Re: Sea defenses - gotta build a wall. I live in Suffolk so know the sea to be coming our way 😉
titusrider - No hard feelings. (on the horse theme) its different horses and all that 😆
I agree that the colour scheme by todays standards is a little cheap looking. Ace up close though 8)

I had that affliction back then and still do 😆
Nice. Thought about going down the retro line for my commuter until my mates forks snapped at Llandegla.
My Wanga is as retro as I go now.
