Well done to Josh Ibbett who has just set a new record of 17hrs 47mins over 200 miles!

I was riding on the Downs yesterday near Brighton and saw him going the other way back towards Winchester. He looked broken.

Nah, it's the same problem those chaps at C.E.R.N. had with neutrino's. It'll all be down to statistical/measurement error or something.......

Seriously though.....that's fast.

Makes my 14hrs 35mins at the single look at a bit rubbish really.

Reckon you're right; now you mention it I remember Rory said look out for an orange Tallboy.

He's taken a bit more off the record than those guys at CERN ๐Ÿ™‚

That is seriously quick - well done mate. I seem to recall you were pretty quick at the TransWales in 2009.

Isn't it a bit odd how the record has fallen so far and so fast in only 3 - 4 years since Rob Lee and Mike Cotty first went under the 24 hour mark? Bikes haven't got noticeably better, knowledge of diet and training has hardly increased. So how come the massive improvements?
