looking to purchase some decent shorts as a xmas gift to myself.looking at the alutra and endura's but wondering if the madison flux and tempest are any good.thinking of going for waterproof ones but cant make mt mind up so would like the STW folks opinions on whats good and value for money,cheers folks....

The waterproof ones imo would be prone to tearing if you tend to ride hard/crash often.
