Hidden on the spec of this rather fancy new Raaw Madonna. Big Betty, new rear specific tyre, in Super Trail casing, and the Magic Mary also in Super Trail.

Look good. Bet they’ll cost a fair whack though.
Well spotted. Bike looks very tasty... except the bottle and tube ruining the pics!

Wonder what super trail brings to the table that super gravity didn't? Still quite miffed that they've discontinued the SG Rock Razor in 29er, that's probably the best tyre they've ever made

Guessing Super Trail is a shade lighter than SG. EXO+, basically.

I could Google, but you're like a tyre search engine, they still do them in tweener size?

Wow, that bike comes with stuff already strapped to it? Talk about #fullenduro.

Not sure about the white paintjob though.

Good sleuthing on the tyres anyway, that new carcass should be a winner for the front of my enduro bike and the back of my trail bike, iykwim.

Bet they’ll cost a fair whack though.

I usually pay about £35 a piece for super gravity or snakeskin ones, best bang for buck when it comes to MTB tyres.

Brexit might **** that up though.

Can't find any info on these, nowt on the website yet, wonder when the big unveil will be. They don't look particularly fast rolling but a casing between snakeskin and super gravity would be great.

that makes sense why i couldnt get a SG rock razor in 29 inch recently!

Will be interesting to see what this new rear tyre is like, a possible Hans Dampf replacement?!

I'm sure mboy will be along shortly to confirm or deny the existence of any new products for the UK market. 🙂

While Schwalbe's enduro tyre line-up is nice and simple, I've thought a few times that they could do with something between the Hans and Mary. Looks like the Betty could be a good solution to that first-world problem.

Hopefully this pic will work...

And I see the bike is actually raw, not white - so I retract my previous criticism. Raw is great.

There was a Betty 10 years or so ago, which I think got dropped along with the Fat Albert.

It was clearly a different tread pattern, but still an all-rounder...

Dirty Dan is their mud tyre.

Except the wheels, they look awful

They remind me of my old Crossmax SX, so I approve of them myself.

I wouldn't agree with that, here's a Mary...

Commencal are also offering the new Super Trail tyres on some of their Meta and Clash models so hopefully we'll get some more info soon from Schwalbe.

While Schwalbe’s enduro tyre line-up is nice and simple, I’ve thought a few times that they could do with something between the Hans and Mary.

TBF they could do with just making the Hans better. IMO there isn't really a gap there, it's just that the hans dampf isn't that good and the mary is excellent, so the performance gap is wider than it should be.

The old Betty was horrible but it looks like they've only kept the name

What about that tread pattern, better pics needed but the ramping looks interesting, suggests a nice predictable transfer to the cornering nobs, but how well do we think it'll roll and brake.

Theres a video on the Facebook page that they posted up yesterday, has a quick glimpse at the tread pattern, about 2:30.

Radon posted a few photos on Instagram nearly a month ago now showing the 2021 Aluminium Swoop with Big Betty on the rear and Magic Mary on the front.

Searched at the time and there were no Google hits since around 2007.

I notice that the tyres are being listed as 2.4, have they actually been beefed up by 0.05 or have Schwalbe found a new measuring device?

Super Gravity seems to have increased in weight - 1363g for a 29er Betty SG is about par with a DH Dual Ply Maxxis

Super Trail seems to be what Super Gravity was before now.

Whats with the trump-esque SUPER adjective in front of the *all* names? Is this to differentiate them from non-super tyres or is it just a waste of 5 letters?

Do they still come with the optional departing side knobs?

Pinkbike have a chart from Schwalbe suggesting it comes in the "super trail", which should be about as light as people would want to go.

The STW article appears to be incorrect in saying it's SG and DH only.

They're not on sale yet, are they?

Perhaps @mboy can help with ETA for UK?

They might show up on German sites first though, I'd guess.
