Probably opening up a can of worms here as everyone preferences are going to be differ, I've been using charge spoon saddles for a few years, 14 months back brought a fabric spoon, all been fine, last few months it's really hurting my arse, I've lost 15 pounds in that time so might make a difference? Less of my own padding, I want to try another saddle to see if that helps but with the above for masses of options out there wants to see what people recommend
I’d say go to a shop, get your arse measured and go from there - some (most?) shops stocking Specialized saddles do this and you get 30 days to exchange if you need to. Worth a try?

I measured my arse bones (there are <cough> instructional videos online) and got myself a Specialized Phenom last week. By God is it comfortable compared to the Spoon.
IME Spoon saddles "wear out" in that sort of timescale. I think the padding packs down and doesn't recover. Shame as I otherwise get on well with them. The Specialized Phenom in 143mm width is pretty close in size and shape. More expensive, but lasts a lot longer.
The saddle that came with my arkose is pretty comfy - so much so that I've just bought an FWE Trail saddle to go on my mtb too.
Under £30, seems very similar to the spoon.
I've used specialized saddles for years. I went with the 'ass-o-meter' tried a few, and have gone with the Power Arc. Not cheap, but comfy.
Have you been spending less time on the bike? Just a thought, my fave saddle's been hurting a bit lately. However I think I've just become un-hardened to it as I've not been riding as much.

There's a number of very similar saddles: Gusset R-Series (geddit?) and Madison Flux for instance.

This couldtbe a factor, I did have a few months off the bike before getting back out again, possibly worth trying it a few more rides to see if its just me getting back into it
I just bought a WTB Volt in the narrow (135mm) width. Really comfy for me (I seem to have a fairly narrow sit bone measurement).
I have a spoon on another bike and it's ok, but not quite as comfy as the Volt.
If you're feeling flush, WTB do a 'test set' of different saddle shapes that I spied on CRC recently. £100 quid though.
