I need some new rims. I've been using Flow EX and WTB i29 for years but wondering if I should try the new Sentry - 29mm v 32mm I believe. I have one bike (SC Bronson) that I use for everything - Cannock Chase, Peaks, Wales, Scotland, Alps. Typically using tyres between 2.35 and 2.5.
So, do I stick with what I know or get an extra few mm, and what do those extra few mm give me?
Flow Mk3 or if you want stronger then DT EX511
They will probably give you more weight. I was reading this week that the Cube Enduro team had gone from 30mm down to 25mm, saving weight and a better feel to the tyres. You don't need anything bigger than 30mm for those tyres.

Subjective innit. I thought there'd be no difference and was genuinely surprised how much better 2.5ish tyres feel on 30mm internal rims (vs 25mm).
EWS racers may be running them with considerably more air pressure of course, so won't notice that extra support so much.
I'm currently 30mm F&R on my enduro wheels, but would consider 25mm on the rear still probably.
One of them was running 23psi front and 28psi rear with 71kg rider on 2.35 Magic Mary/Hans Damf combo.

Very true, hence the question. I understand using wider rims when you're running 27+, but wasn't sure if there'd be any benefit for me at 2.5 max.
