never rode the "old" penhydd trail so not sure how this {planned} one compares.

Old penhydd was great... closest comparison would probably be the blue at FoD, but the penhydd final descent wasn't quite as good as FoD.

As long as it has Hidden Valley similar to before it'll be ace, one of my favorite bits of trail. ๐Ÿ˜€

Sidewinder and Dead Sheep Gully were my favourites. The former seemed to go on forever.

Excited about the new developments at Afan; it's a great place, but definitely has more potential.

Sidewinder and dead sheep gully are still there right now!

But hidden valley is well and truly trashed.

Looking forward to this opening, when it eventually materialises.

I rode it one night a few months ago. Still there but pity we struggled to see the trail because of over-grown grass (of all things!). It was entertaining though, and nice to ride it again after so long.

How are you WonnyJ? Haven't seen you up Kilvey for ages!

So.. overall then, Afan in general is the same but this is a different Penhydd?

But this Rookie trail is new yes?
