cartridge ones, but which to buy ?

Koolstop seem to get rave reviews - where from and which ones wil fit Tektro CR720 cartridge system ?

They look right.
Do your brake shoes have little retaining pins in them. If so then them's your boys.

Hi Tim, yes, pins that hold the cartridge pads in - these ones look right and a quick search suggests I need koolstop v cartidge pads..

Mmm, actually how old are the brakes. Looking at the Tektro home page it seems they've spec'ed different pads for the latest ones.

I've got the 520's and put some old v-brake shoes on that take the pads you linked to. They also fit the older shoes that came with the 720's of yesteryear.

OK, pins are good.

Disco brakes on eBay do some good dual compound pads for not a lot of money. They work well for me on the Tricross SS. Red and balck from memory.

thanks all - went for the ebay ones - half the price of koolstops and good reviews. If they are rubbish I'll get the koolstops.
