[#8148037]

So I am looking at some new 150mm travel forks.

I can get a set of new Yari Solo Airs for £390

A second hand set, hardly used for £325

Or sone 2015 Pike RBS for £275 used.

Warranty is nice, but is the Pike RC a good buy?

If you can stretch, the new Yari's.

I managed to snag some 150mm rct3 Pikes for 250, but wouldn't have paid more.

I'd get the yari, borrowing one at the moment and I can't tell the difference between it and the pike I used to have, set it up with the right pressure and a few tokens and it feels great.

But I am an idiot who can't ride properly....

Thanks. Might have to see if I have any points left.

I bought used pikes that needed work. Never again, I've ended up spending more than a new set would have cost me in sales.

Always worth having 1st owner warranty on forks imho now.

For the price difference new yari beats the used one. Pike really depends on condition, what's the service cost these days?
