Can I urge everyone in the midlands to go and visit Bache Brothers Cycles in Lye which had just got some new owners.

I've not step foot in the shop for 15 years but following a retro bike post thought I would pop in. Oh. My. God. I have never seen such an unbelievable amount of new old stuff in one place. Ti M-Trax complete bike? Check. Steel Fisher bike? Check. Odd frames and RST forks? Check. Components that you want but never thought you would find? Check. Retro Mapei water bottles? Check.

Truly unbelievable stuff and well worth a bust. The new owners seem like top guys as well.

Oh yeah, dust everywhere. The owner let me have a look in the other rooms in the building and I have never seen so many bike boxes and bits, there were 5 rooms floor to ceiling with bike boxes, everything from ti M-Trax's to road bikes to old Fisher hardtails. He reckons he's got over 300 NOS RST forks from the late 90's/early 00's still in boxes along with literally hundreds of saddles, bars and other such stuff.

I'm not sure how much of it is relevant to today stuff but I've got my eye on an old steel Fisher to build as a single speed hack bike.

I can't remember the models but there were a range including some with Prestige and Tange tubes. The owner reckoned they varied in RRP from £400 ish to 4 figures. Lots of options.
