Looking at replacing my worn Mavic Deemax Elite with either the same or some Shimano ME7's.
The last Mavics have worn well, but recently both metal strap holders have failed (strap held on with a zip tie in place of the metal) They are all day comfy, good for Hike a Bike, not to heavy, good sole and grip when off the bike.
What would STW suggest - replace like for like @£100, go Shimano ME7 @£137 or something else that at least matches the Mavics
