Hiya,
Has anyone tried the new v1.0 and/or v2.0 2FO flat shoes from Specialized yet? I've seen some reviews but no real user ones yet and wondering what they are like.
Cheers.
I've got the lairy yellow 2.0 ones. They're good, not quite as grippy as my Impact VXi but stiffer. Might improve as they bed in as they're only 10 rides old or so.
Seem a lot less cold than the old ones, and if the sole becomes a bit more flexible in time, could overtake the Impacts for everything, but as of right now, prefer the Impact for anything other than trail centre type riding.
Which is a shame as I'm hoping to impose some bright neon colours on grumpy all black wearing riders in a bid to force them to cheer up.
Got the new black/red 2fo flat. I really like them, stiffer than my 510 freeriders i had before, actually dry quicker than the 3 months it takes the 510.
Only been about 3 rides so far so no long-term though
I've got V1. As above, they're chilly in the winter, but lovely and could in the summer. Not quite as grippy as the Freeriders they replaced, but I've never felt it an issue. Can be easier to reposition the foot, which helps.
Also, as above, quick drying.
Was looking at these in the LBS the other day though...
