Definitely the cleats, old set are still silent. Making loads of racket. Used talc and had a quiet ride until the rain washed it away. Any solution here? Don't understand why these make noise and other sets don't. Cleats aren't loose or moving under load either
Anyone have tips for sorting permanently?

Nope, afraid it's part of the Brand.
Best I have is this.. on your clip on the shoe, make sure the little rubber pad is still there.. GT85 the base of the carbon ends of the cleats because it's these that make the racket.
I have in the past wrapped a couple of layers of insulation tape to the bed of the cleat where the clip rests, but it comes off within a couple of hundred miles.
Mine creak occasionally, bit annoying, worse in hot dry weather.
