Hubba hubba!

I'm not an expert at all but it looks like reasonably nice long transitions on the take-offs rather than the short steep ones you normally get at trail centres. No doubt some of the riding gods on here will be along shortly to say the jumps aren't big enough but they look pretty sweet to me.

That looks great. Is it a separate area, or do you ride it at the bottom of one of the descents?

It's at the entrance.

So it doesn't follow on from one of the descents? I've not actually been yet - really looking forward to it though.

i was there saturday and it's right next to where you get picked up for the uplift, it will be a laugh having a go on that, then back on uplift, couple of runs then back on the jump sections ๐Ÿ˜€

That looks immense!

Does anyone know what Antur is like in the wet? Planning an uplift day there in a couple of weeks, but don't want to travel all that way for it to be rubbish if the weathers not up to much (which it won't be!)

It's north wales, if it didn't work in the wet then there isn't much point ๐Ÿ™‚ That said it's local slate rather than the usual gritstone so it was a bit slippy on the slabs when we where there, it's also pretty exposed. It'll be nicer in the sun but perfectly rideable in the wet

I rode it on what was described as the worst day they've has since it opened ๐Ÿ˜€
Puddles got bigger towards the end but all good, all ridable although some pedalling was required at the top due to headwind and horizontal rain. Ace fun, blue is very flowy and fast, red had a couple of steeper sections but not as good IMHO, black a bit rocky. All perfectly ridable on a hardtail, although I had a 140mm Susser. Seem of the slabby bits were a bit slippy. The jumpy bit is right at the bottom seperate to the trails.

Hi that picture is the pump track at the entrance which will open in the new year.

Rode it yesterday. The rest of Antur Stiniog is fabulous in a crazy way for a fey mincing XC boy like me. Blue, red and bottom of black for me.

The double black is insane!

We were advised against it as the conditions were so poor. Even the guys on 224s were avoiding it that day!
