I can't quite work out if this is just a proposal or actually goingย  to be enacted, but indicators, tax and numberplate. Excellent,ย  coming to a Tory UK near you soon. 😠

Forza Italia! 👎

But will they finally ban overtaking on the wrong side of the road on blind bends?

I don't understand, he cites an accident between two motorvehicles as a reason to put number plates and insurance requirements on cyclists?

From this article though, it seems most of the changes are directed at other road users

A lot of the stuff listed in that article seems to close loopholes and strengthen existing rules. The bikes ones, that feels new and pretty onerous.

The Giro's going to be a cash cow!

I have a distinct feeling of deja vu... did we not have the exact same thing "proposed" in the UK under Boris? By proposed I meam, released to the media, reported on, then a later U turn or "clarification"?

If that were to go through I would seriously consider not moving to Italy (as is the current plan)....

You see so many folks out on a weekend, with their classic and not so classic bikes. Many without helmets. Can't see that going down well given the strength of the cycling culture in the Boot.

Shame, it would have been interesting to see the aero indicators Pinarello would come up with.
