Based on a previous thread, I ordered a full face helmet for a Bike Park Wales trip next month. When it arrived the fit was great but the mesh that covers one of the vents is loose. Looks like the glue that holds it in hasn't sealed right for whatever reason.
The retailer has offered either a free return or £5 refund (the helmet was under £60). They don't have any more in stock, so I can't do a swap.
I'm tempted just to keep it - everything else seems fine, and I might even be able to glue the mesh back in if I can get to it. I've not tried too hard 'cos I wasn't sure if I'd be returning it.
What would you do?
I'd keep it, bin the mesh and crack on 🙂
Yeah the mesh itself doesn't really bother me, more the fact that if the glue has gone there could it have failed somewhere else too? But maybe I'm overthinking it.
Keep the helmet. Spend the £5 on a mosquito head net to wear underneath.

The mesh bit on my full face has been loose pretty much since I bought it…
