Currently have a Giro Hex. Its a couple of years old and should be replaced soon.
I am quite happy to replace it like for like with another Hex.
On the other hand, I'm always up for trying new kit and I'v seen the 661 Recon. It looks quite and having had a 661 p1ss pot I fully expect the quality to be top notch.
Has anyone used/seen/abused one of these? Or is there anything else on the fuller coverage front that I should be looking at? Apart from the Zen etc as dont see the point in spending that sort of money when the Hex has done me so well.

try a uvex xp 100. Lighter, better venting and head coverage great retension system,loving mine. Ok with a light on top. Bought mine from Rutland (£50) took 2 days to arrive.
had a uvex years ago and did me quitev well untill I had to replace it after a crash.
that one looks quite nice too.
i now use a scott karma lid in matt black. betterer than my met kaos one.
