Hi everyone,
I am looking for a new hardtail frame. I'm going to swap parts from one bike to the new frame. This is where it gets complicated for me as i dont want to buy any new parts other than the frame.

It needs to fit
27.5 wheels
120-140mm tapered fork
12x142 rear axle
Stealth dropper post

Im wanting a steel frame and it wil be a do everything bike.
Any sugestions up to £500 would be greatly appreciated.

A wee bit over budget but I'd +1 on the next gen Slackline!

(The price will be forgotten long after the quality and fun remains!)

There's a very nice Chromag Surface on Ebay - not mine and I'm very tempted by it myself but it's the wrong time for me (and I think it's slightly overpriced)

Slackline MK2 is a little over your budget-I'm sure a dealer will budge a little in the right direction.I absolutely love mine, great feeling do just about evertything kind of hardtail. Takes a 30.9mm stealth.

Bird Zero AM or TR has got to be worth a look.

Another vote for the new Slackine.

I borrowed one for a couple of weeks and really, really liked it. As a trail bike it was easier to get on with than my Switchback Ti.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Just couldn't justify £600 on a frame, however nice it is. So I purchased a chromag wideangle. Can't wait to build it up and get some milage under it this year.
