What are the "uprated" jockey wheels you speak of?

You mean 12 speed Eagle? GX can be 10,11,12. Out of the 7 (yup 7) 12 speed mechs I've bought over the last year or so came from Planet X, CRC, bike-discount.de, eBay. The eBay one had old jockeys, new old stock I guess, business seller, sent it back for a refund.

Carlos,if you look at the lower jockey wheel of some eagle mechs they have a different profile to the older version.I need a new GX eagle mech so wanted to ensure i bought the latest version.

Ah, thought you might have found some 11spd with decent jockey bearings in them.

All the Eagle GX mechs should have the new jockeys mate.

If you manage to get one with the old style them it's from somewhere with very old shock.

You'll be fine mate.
