I was looking at this ebay offering ( https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Brand-New-SHIMANO-Deore-M4100-1X10-Speed-MTB-Groupset-4-Pcs-46T-W-M5120-RD/122745593225?hash=item1c94351d89:g:-RMAAOSwbQNe~zFS) but it seems to good to be true. Anyone had any experience with these types of deals?

It's probably a specialist in shifting old stock. But £90 *does* seem suspiciously cheap.

I’d take a punt and use the combination of eBay buyer protection and PayPal protection to give me peace of mind...

No cranks included, it seems. No problem if you don't need them though.

It's located in China so you'll probably have to wait a while to get them.

It's coming from China which means:

1) It'll take a while

2) You'll pay duty and tax

3) In practical terms you have no come back regarding warranty since returning it will be more hassle than it's worth (unless Madison are feeling generous about honoring the worldwide warranty)

4) It might never show up

Having said that, it is a bit of a bargain, the seller gets good ratings and with Paypal you have protection (but that won't change points 1-3 above).

Seems like good value if you are happy to wait for it. Shame it's a Micro Spline cassette.

It looks like the latest Deore. Cassette shouldn't be micro spline. 5100 derailleur is better though, even if it supposed to be 11 speed, works fine on 10.

It isn't, it is HG. The only microspline cassettes are 12 speed.

Follow up question - would this fit on an 8-9-10 speed freehub body (I'm assuming thats what I have as I know it is HG and I currently have a 9 speed.
