Looking for some inspiration. I’m trying to decide whether to replace my current frame with something a little more relaxed and confidence inspiring going downhill. I currently ride a 2008 Cube Ltd. Pro with upgraded Reba Team forks which are currently set at 100mm; I’d get these altered to 120mm.

So with a budget of £200-300 (maybe a little more), what should I be looking at to take a 120mm fork, for local xc riding (in Leicester), trail centres (usually Cannock) and hopefully the Peaks every now and then. With all the fantastic LBS in Leicester I’m not going to get a test ride on anything, so the decision will be based on recommendations and looks unfortunately!

On-one summer season or 456 sounds perfect. Maybe a Ragley Piglet.

A Kinesis of some description?

Never owned one but they look pretty good bikes to me for the money. Mates got one and loves it.

Thanks for the ideas, think I've decided on a Piglet, just not sure on size. The Cube is an 18", was thinking the same?
