Looking at replacing the Recon 100mm forks on my Kinesis and going to 120mm, so what is good out there at the moment? Have seen some deals on Rebas and Fox. For about £280. Steerer can be tapered but QR would mean I can keep my current wheel.

I got a pair of reba rlts from merlin last year. Upgraded from a RS Tora. I went for a 15mm axle so that added another £110 for a nukeproof front wheel. The difference was incredible. Steering was so much better compared to the 9mm QR I had before. Of course some of that could be down to the stiffness of the new fork. But on this occasion I'm happy to believe the marketing. Been using the fork for a year now and very happy. Still fiddling about with fork pressures though.
I was planing on getting a fox fork but all the reviews and posts about no lubricant breakages put me off.
