[#527265]

Anyone up for a little tour of the New Forest at a nice relaxed pace, possibly including a pub lunch?

Don't tell everyone but I may be able to arrange an exclusive preview of the Big Bike Bash riding trail. Comments/observations/suggestions will be very welcomed from such knowledgeable STW riders and will certainly help to make the event a huge success ๐Ÿ˜€

Would be looking to start riding at 10.30 am for a distance of some 20 miles.

Post up if you're interested but numbers will have to be limited so don't delay!

I could lead a ride around CG. I know a lot of the trails out there and could do a nice little 20 miler. I would be bringing Daniel on a tag-a-long so would certainly be sedate ๐Ÿ™‚

I would imagine i'll make an appearance what with it being just down the road. Plenty of nice pubs to choose from, just watch out for the pony pooh.

Ten furty? Means I'll have to be up at like, 5 o'clock or something daft. Why so bloody early? It's not like it gets dark quick.

Make it noon or sumfink. Then at least I can have a poo before I set off.

Bloody ten furty. What are you lot like? ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

Cheers Rich, but I'll be coming down with HackneyMincer, and he'll be driving. S'what, a 2-hour journey all in, from That London.

Just push the start time back a bit, so's we can all lie in a bit longer.

Bloody ten furty. ๐Ÿ™„

Wow, looks as though there going to be quite a posse ๐Ÿ˜€

rOcKeTdOg - no, it's not the BH weekend.

sharki - it will be a nice gentle re-introduction to the trails for you, might need to put you on a lead though!

RudeBoy - just stay away from the keyboard the night before otherwise Ollie will come without you ๐Ÿ˜‰

owen - the groups could amalgamate?

Another fun STW Forum ride ๐Ÿ™‚

Nope. Twirly for us. I'm not getting up at 7am or whatever ridiculously ungodly hour. It's 2 hours or more drive, and we'll be stopping for brekkie, so we'd have to be leaving just after 8. That's just silly.

We'll probbly go Surrey Hills or something instead.

S'not me driving though, is it? S'down to Ollie. If he does not in any way want such an early start, then it means we'll go somewhere closer. And if we either of us have commitments on Sat night, then it means we won't be getting a great deal of sleep. Best, we go later, at a time that's more suited to us.

Hope you can make it.

Hi,

Could be tempted as it's only 15 mins down the road from me.

I assume that it will be mostly/entirely fireroad?

Avon Tyrell has some nice twisty singletrack that you wouldnt really want to do on anything other than a mountain bike.

Lots of great cheeky trails around there. Sadly I'm in Exmoor with Newforce that weekend or I could show you some, although they too have a club ride in the Forest - starting on the East side though.

Let me know if you want a few pointers

Hey - going to be a good turnout ๐Ÿ˜€

Keep checking back for more details but tractors are welcome as long as they have a smiley face person riding them!

I am the queen of tractor riding and face pulling - you have to be able to do both at the same time if you want to ride one in the New Forest ๐Ÿ˜†
