[#3109963]

to be used for some cx racing commuting and winter training.

at present i'm leaning towards the boardman cx team for £810 or possibly a cotic weekday although not so keen on the spec

anything else out there worth looking at?

many thanks

If you're over 6 foot then this seems a very good deal!

I've got a focus mares 3.0. It was well under your budget. It's really good considering the relatively basic spec. The lac of carbon forks hasn't bothered me despite my experiences with full carbon road frames (also from focus). I think the chunkier tyres negate the need for as much carbon. Little heavy but no unraceable. Full guard and rack mounts for commuting, also got two bottle cages for use as a winter road bike or tourer.
