I've just changed my 11-25 to a 12-26 cassette. alls good but when I'm in the big ring and smallest 3-4 cogs it sounds really rough.is this a b screw adjustment of a cable tension job?
any help please?
How old is your chain. I just stuck a new cassette on the other day. Newish front ring, old chain and brand spanking cassette. Some gears ran really rough. Bought a new chain and its all smooth again.
Edit. Mine was rough in 1st to 4th gears. The rest were more or less ok.
did you change the chain too? - (old chain on a new cassette type rattle)
no same chain - but its only done a few hundred miles.
sounds daft but have you looked to see if there is something touching when you rotate the pedals?
