just been to the canyon site and its down with a holding page
but I spotted something on the holding image. Does the it say 170 on the rocker?
isn't the current strive 160 at the rear?
new strive and spectral time?

The whole Canyon site is down and that picture is of a 120mm Nerve frame.

They have been one the us site for a few months, don’t think they are the new 2018 bikes

The frame is unchanged so no boost rear or metric shock. The fork is boost.
There is definitely a 170mm bike coming from Canyon.

because they've only changed the paint from the 2016 and 2017 models
Was expecting revised frame, boost rear end, geometry change & a bit lighter.
Same frame for 3 years, it is in need of some changes.

they haven't changed the Capra for four years!
is this not the 4th year the strive and spectral have been these frames.
I got my spectral for Christmas 2015 off the wife and they had been out for most of that year from memory. so this will be 4th year with no frame changes?
canyon are really striving to make that frame pay for itself. did you see what I did there? lol. I'll close the door behind me
Spec drop on most the models as well, underwhelmed.
Doors the shapeshifter actually work yet?
no new spectral or strive , no boost ,no metric shocks , no 29ers, no bikes , they dropped a clanger this year !
I guess it's a case of if it ain't broke.....
I'm not sure that an extra 5mm either side on the front hub is anything worth worrying about.
The Shapeshifter on mine is working as intended, admittedly have only had the bike since February, but it's seen plenty of big mountains and climbs this year.
Agree with the spec. It seems like each year the spec list takes a hit.
Looks like some models have also got heavier..

I was looking forward to seeing a new bike this year. nevermind, next year.
Apologies for the thread resurrection, but given that there has been a raft of new bikes from Canyon I reckon there's a new strive in the works for 2019. Something like a cross between the torque and the spectral. or am I completely off
