I agree, Pikes work very well on a PA but so do Revs. I found that my PA encouraged me to do the sort of riding that Pikes are aimed at. I upgraded to Pikes for mine after a while. its horses for courses though.

I probably will put Pikes on when I can afford them, but untill then the Recons at 130 will do fine. They not to far away from the Pikes on my Meta anyway, obviously not as stiff....
Don't know why I'd need a bigger back tyre though, the small block 8 probably comes up bigger than the HR on the front 😉
got some pikes for £250 if you want em
