Oh, and why: I had a spare louise caliper and an XT lever was only £28 from CRC 🙂
I once saw some Avid levers with Shimano calipers - bet that didn't work!

Well i bled it once and the lever felt good (better than the marta calliper lol) so i might fit it tomorrow night. Its going on the flux as i tried a few times to source a post mount marta for the rear but nothing turned up. They retail about 80 quid so when i was spending vouchers on crc i decided not to buy a pair of shimano pads for the other bike.. but to buy a whole calliper for something like an extra £10! If it works fine for an xc bike on the rear then i`ll be happy enough.

Oh and i called it the torero as martadeore made me think of matador.
