I've joined the ranks of the overbiked weekend warriors and I don't care 😀
1st ride around a very wet Gisburn yesterday - i love it!

Climbs/descends even better thsn my beloved 5 Spot.

GRF (if you are back from your ban) - note SPD's as threatened! Bar ends on are order 🙂

Very Nice

Over biked, Dont think so! 2 rings up front, it'll go up a hill, what more do you need 🙂

I can hear the 'White saddle' alarm ringing at Transition HQ now.

Kyle will be bollocking GRF over brand reputation damage before you can say 'bar ends on riser bars' 🙄

The White saddle is nasty but your forgiven as otherwise it's sweet. I am looking forward to seeing the Bandits as they start to filter through

Though I am quite liking the idea of a Covert too... but being distracted slightly by the Rocky Mountain Slayer as an alternative....

Not too bad mboy, although they turn the wick up at the first service as it starts to run in! The shaft drive is actually very chain like though, no major surprises and makes a nice change from the Triumphs!

Well, it's great to know you are not 100% omniscient 😛

I too have a white saddle - on me road bike - where it belongs.

OP - nice bike in all seriousness

Did I hear someone got hold of a Bandit? C'mon more info needed...

Loving the Covert. We got tons in this year because it sold so well last year. Everyone who bought one swears by it. Really should put one into my demo fleet but the cost makes my eyes water. Bandits are due in around 3 weeks I think - we ordered most options.

Very jeleous. Is the frame second hand and if you don't mind me asking how much did you pay for it?

Love the colour.

Flyingfox, just checked out your website about those Bandits & you're still showing an unconfirmed price, any idea what the actual price is gonna be yet? 'cos I seriously fancy one

Been meaning to do that - I haven't received official confirmation yet but I think it is £1399. I will put it up as such (or simply put it up as a deposit situation so folk can secure for when they come in at the end of July).

Jedi - for the majority of your riding the Bottlerocket must be ideal... seems like the Covert is just a bit more versatile though??

Will get the pics up etc. Don't know why it wasn't done before (other than trying to get official pics etc. is pretty tricky to say the least!). If the price ends up being more than what I put on the website, I'll deal with it, if it's less, then I'll refund the difference or give more back in goods.

Mine should be here in the next week or two. Will get pics and a ride report up once it arrives.

"Is the frame second hand and if you don't mind me asking how much did you pay for it?"

New frame - £1100 (down from £1400) as it's last years colour, I really wanted this colour though.

Good choice of bike - I picked up my 2011 framed build on Sunday 🙂 It is orange, but looks quite yellow in the sun.

Any complaints on weeds, paving, brickwork etc... to be directed to 18bikes 🙂

Welcome to customer service Surfsales style 😆

The consolation is you get less abuse than team riders have to put up with...

I am quite keen on a bandit, if I get one then (after the divorce) I will put my white saddle on it and give it the full lycra 😉
