I have known all along that my Enduro Evo is too much bike for most of my riding but it is so good I cant bare to part with it. Would buying a more suitable bike for general riding, such as a Stumpjumper, make my enduro obsolete for all but DH sessions and big mountain days which are all to rare. Granted the smaller bike would be built up much much lighter than the Enduro so purposely it wont be able to handle the same abuse.
Do those of you that have similar bikes use both as much as you would like or does one just gather dust? I was wondering if it would just be a case of riding whichever took my fancy on the day so they both got equal use.
I don't want to spend on a newer bike if its going to make my old one pointless.
I suppose I could try and lighten the Enduro to make it a more all round bike. Does anybody want to swap an evo link and shock for a normal enduro link and shock?
