A couple of years ago I managed to do this to my road bike.

At the beginning of August I finally got round to replacing the frame and fork with stuff from Ribble, it all arrived as scheduled and the building began. After a small CRC problem with the headset, I finally finished it on Thursday and have been riding it ever since. All comments welcome.

Nice and cheap Ribble 7005 frame (new).
Nice and cheap Ambrosio carbon fork (new).
Campagnolo Veloce groupset from the dead Dave Quinn
Front wheel Decathlon cheap (new).
Carbon seat post.
Nothing special, but it's not supposed to be bling, bling.

So far it's nice and comfortable. As I'm slowly rebuilding fitness I can't give a true performance appraisal.
But, I'm back on the road and training now begins in earnest. ๐Ÿ˜†
Road bikes are ace.

Do you think I'm not aware of this? ๐Ÿ˜†

Looks AWESOME

Thanks, it actually is quite AWESOME, so AWESOME in fact that I find that I don't move when riding, it's the ground that moves under the bike!!
