it'll match my riding then!

Straight not swept bars?

i fancied bar ends too, but not sure there's room, another experiment!

I'd stick some Sram FMJ's on it.

Make quite a bit of difference to the brakes.

Edited 🙂

I'd love a bike like that.

Back to basics, something different to ride / look at.

Gorgeous, if I still had money I'd be VERY tempted. 2x9 though, got a SS! How about Ergon grip/bar end combo? Gonna put some on my 26" SS as ordinary grips give me very sore hands/wrists on long rides. As I ride with the end of my bars in my palms (a la bar end position) to change position I'm convinced that the Ergons will do the trick.

i'm not really into this 29er thing, but i can't fault the aesthetic. One question why buy a nice bike and slap cable discs on it, nice set of formula R1's would have looked reet good.

cable discs work so well though and are easy to adjust and for my riding have more than enough power and modulation

they are blue to matchc my eyes, brown saddle and grips wouldmean i'd have to invest in Tweed, although a set of massive burners instead of the beard would be cool, i recon i could pull it off

I have no idea why I want a rigid 29er, and looking at that is not helping me resist

lovely

Well good luck, some of the rain we had earlier in the week fell as snow on the upper slopes 😉

Would of joined you but my bike is a bit f*cked after a days 'core sessioning at the Cannock Plateau yesterday.

mmmm cannock lowland riding, it'll be the negative altitude that's the problem

just back from a ride, bit puffed from SS but the bars weren't as odd as i thought they'd be, didn't realize the big wheels to be honest, which i suppose is a good thing 🙂
