I'm home alone and bored so humour me please.
So SWMBO has granted me the opportunity to have a new MTB jacket for Xmas (gore Alp X 2.0 waterproof to be specific). However, for £80 more I could get a Triban 3 roadbike from Decathlon.
My main aim is to ride more so the roadbike is a no-brainer, right?
Opinions?
high end jacket or low end road bike WTF?
Why not throw in a HRM, half a rapha vest or some carbon hadlebars to the pot?
Thanks for the help. The jacket is for my first love - mountain biking. I don't have a road bike though.
why not get a cheap jacket AND a road bike? Or make do with your current jacket?
roadbike now and a cheap jacket in the sales! everyone's a winner!
Jacket for Christmas so you can ride the MTB more comfortably during the winter and save for a proper road bike in the summer.
