One of my dream bikes is mine at last...

Off out, more pics later. Yes, that is my name, and no I'm not a fast racer-type, just wanted to call her mine. If you can't work out exactly what it is, check out the filename ;-).

Hi,
What do you think of Red Planet?
Pleased with the service?
I am thinking of getting a new Scott form there.

Seb, yes RP have been great throughout, best service I've received from an LBS anywhere. You can tell they really take pride in building a bike like this, and they've still got that bike enthusiasm thing going on, which I really like. Nothing worse than bike shop owners/workers who don't really give a toss about bikes!

Cheers chakaping, I agree, the Uzzi VP just looks "right" to me too. Also pedals remarkably well considering what it's capable of (which is much more than I am!) This one weighs in at around 36lbs. You could of course build it up much lighter but I'll be using this mainly for bigger stuff & DH.

Solo airs (got a good deal on them). Gonna see how I get on with them and maybe convert to coil if I feel the need later on.

Thanks, the bike's great, but sadly I'm rubbish. I've booked myself on a jumps & drops training day so that maybe I can do the bike a bit more justice :D.
