New bike day: Shan 27

Just got from from a work trip today. On the way home from the airport I picked my new bike up from my LBS who did a great job in getting my Shan ready for collection so quickly. Got home and was able to head straight out for an hours blast on my local trails.

What a great bike - this is replacing a 26" BFe with 150mm Revs. Dunno if it's the Pikes, the frame or the 27.5 wheels, but the bike feels much more forgiving than the BFe. Climbs great, and descends even better. Just fab!

To be honest, I never knew anything about Shan frames - I'd barely heard of them. But a friend of mine happened to be selling one just as I was hmmm-ing about going 27.5 on my hardtail as well as my full suss.

They are great bikes fo'shure, one of the nicest hardtails and waaay nicer to ride than the Bfe
