and it's an 18 so will fit me too !!!
He's shooting up in height rapidly, at just under 15 yrs age, so catching up his old dad at a pace. He's just about 5 ft 9 so will pass me, at 5'10'' in the next year for sure.
Full XT group, nice and light, good overall spec, he's a lucky boy 🙂

Sadly he's now restricted to only riding it with dad as none of his mates will want to be seen near a front mech. 😛
Very handy that it fits you - that must be a dad thing, as mine keeps 'borrowing' one of my bikes too!
^^^^ I deliberated on a 1x, but he's still growing in strength and we do some big hills - he needed the granny on his Cube Acid on Burma Rd the other week 🙂
this one is 2x11 XT so pretty decent. He rides with Glasgow Riderz and likes to keep up !
Quite right - young riders shouldn't be slogging, they should be spinning so don't be afraid to give him a wide range of gears to allow him to do this.
