[#11252385]

Finally got the bottom bracket sorted out and have now finished building this up !

Went with large as the geometry was near identical to my XL Whyte S150crs. First impressions of just a quick blip down the road feel good. Need a slightly higher rise bar but that can wait.

Not rode a hardtail for years now so it feels completely alien at the moment but I'm sure it will be fine.

I've borrowed the fork and wheels from the s150 as that is in bits having a bearing change.

Will be fitting a 160mm fork and some nice wheels at the end of the month. Maybe some wide tyres as there is plenty of room.

Looks ace! But won't it feel weird with such a long stem?

Hope you enjoy it - hardtails are great! I'll just leave this link here in case you're interested: https://worldbicyclereliefuk.charitycheckout.co.uk/cf/singletrack-supporting-world-bicycle-relief

(not picking on you, just trying to put this in whenever I spot a new bike day thread in the hope of raising awareness!)

Cheers all.

I've stuck the bars and stem from my full Susser on it now and it feels great.

Believe it or not the both stems are 40mm. Must just be the photo angle.

I went for the BFe as it was cheaper plus I can run longer travel forks.

Bloody hell. Just seen that these are all sold out until Xmas, Cotic have sold six months' worth of them in 3 weeks.

I'd been holding off to see the SolarisMax first before making a choice, now looks like I may have missed the boat.

Bloody lovely, love the blue.👍

I'd get some colour matched fork decals just to finish it 100%.

Enjoy!

These are the forks and wheels from my full Susser. I've borrowed then whilst that is in bits having a bearing change.

New forks and wheels for this at end of month.

Cy is on holiday this week. I doubt that you’ll have to wait much longer though.

Just an update on this ......

Has its own wheels and forks now.

Fitted a pike select with more suitable graphics.

Also found a new set of Bontrager line comp 30 wheels and 2.6 tyres.

Looks pretty decent I think. Just got to fit a new cassette as I've ordered the wrong one.

Nice, but I wouldn't be able to resist pimping it with a bit of blue anodising.
