Brand Spanking Remedy 9.8!

Had a couple of small local rides, and it absolutely flies! Probably way too much bike for my age and skill level, but it's (probably) my last big bike before growing up fully. Plus it is truly a thing of beauty..
Waiting on some new pedals to arrive, and with a bit more fettling, faffing and dialling I'll be good to go.

(Bought from C6 in Cambridge, who were extremely helpful and patient. Top guys!)

Nice that!

I'm thinking of getting a last big bike before old age too

Your lower bricks are going mouldy.

Never mind that. Some ne’er do well has spray painted over his house number. Think of the Post Man.

Blimmin’ nice looking bike. 🙂

Looks great.

Always worth removing the geotags from pictures you upload though.

singlespeedstu - can't afford to get those sorted now unfortunately 😶

TBH I’ve no idea how to remove it once it’s uploaded. I try and remember to switch it off if I’m planning to share it online

Nice!

C6 are next to were I work (when I actually went to an office), and have been very helpful whenever I have popped in.

They seem to shift an awful lot of mountain bikes considering they are located in the Fens! I think I even saw them once say they were the 2nd largest Santa Cruz supplier in the country which surprised me a lot. No doubt Pedal & Spoke are in top spot, but thought there'd be others ahead of them - even locally I'm surprised Brink don't shift more then them.

Better to have a nice bike to ride and mouldy bricks than the other way round.

Shocking levels of mold but a tidy long slack ride

Lovely, I bet you will be very happy with it, here’s my 9.9:

It’s moved my riding on loads!

Mods so far if your interested:
170mm cranks, just for ergonomics
X01 cassette for weight
Pnw grips as I found the bontys a bit hard
Pnw loam lever mostly for matchy matchy
