Today I picked up my new bike a Boardman ADV 8.9 after months of tooing and frowing between getting a XC bike or gravel bike I went gravel, and after a test ride on my way home I'm so glad I went gravel it feels so much more nimble on the tracks and turns loads easier than my old mtb which died last week, it will be resurrected.
My sofa to 50k plan is now back on track and I have the whole of Dartmoor to explore!.

@dogbone is it a harsh ride? I tried a basso a few years back and was shaken to bits by the harsh ride on the 5min test ride. No idea what it was, but it had rim brakes so it wasn't yours😀

It's the same as mine 🙂 I took a shortcut yesterday to cut out the final climb using farm tracks and bridleways. I'm really liking it. The only issue I've had is a slightly draggy front hub, which is easily adjusted.
I also have a thing about orange bikes.
