Just received my new bike and giving it the once over. The frame has a 73mm BB and comes with a Raceface bb and crankset installed.
There appears a gap between the crank arm and the bb though on the non-drive side, is this normal looking? From what I can read 1 spacer on the drive side is correct.
I’m used to Shimano hollowtech jobbies previously where everything sat pretty flush. Not even sure if I need special tools to tweak this setup?

Give it a good, firm shove to see if there's any play - if there isn't, particularly axially (in/out) then you've got no worries. Given that RF BBs are generally made from cheese, it won't be long before you'll need another anyway.
Doesn’t look right to me.... I’ve got - an admittedly older - race face bb and crank and it sits flush, no gap
rf cranks tighten down onto a shoulder on the spindle do they not? not the bearings. If no obvious lateral play I wouldn't worry. I ran mine with a spacer less than recommended so as not to side load the bearings
