[#6266551]

I have just built this up and I love it! A few bits to sort, forks are leaking slightly, brake hoses need shortening and Id like to get a Reverb and a Stans No Tubes kit but otherwise loving it. I also thought a medium would be too small but so far dosent seem too bad.

That dog needs to do it's business outside, it'll ruin your carpet

Lovely, a mark 1? Can I ask roughly how much you paid for it? I'm thinking I might have to sell mine, I really don't want to, but it's one in one out at the moment

Frame was £580 with Kashima Float CTD. Problem I found was eveyone wants to sell the bike complete and frames came up rarely on their own. I wanted to buy a mk2 but after searching for awhile this came up at the right price. Pedals well with the climb setting and Ive come from a DH bike so weight isnt an issue at the moment.

Shock not back to front, or does that even matter?

Its a rental place so carpet is out of my control! Yes it is, thats how it came with bushes pre-installed and they only go one way so need to get the switched.

The mark1 has a rep for being more DH orientated than the later models, I much preferred the mark1 to the mark2. Not ridden one of the carbon wonders. The frame is pretty light (well imo) something along the lines of 7.5lb I believe. I'm running a RP23 now and its a great shock.

Looks like a good price and good condition.

Btw they ride pretty good at 180 in the alps too !
