Does anyone know if the new 2009 Julies have a different lever shape from the old ones?

I have used set of the old ones in the past, which I always thought were great value for money, but I hated the lever shape (curved and thin). are the new ones any better?

They're a very different brake this year, with a proper high pressure system instead of the old low pressure HS33 hosing. There's a photo here, and we've got plenty of stock if you're after some and other people are out. FWIW I thought the lever was pretty comfy; quite broad.

Hmmm, I don't think the old one could ever be described as broad, so maybe it is a different shape.
For reference, I really like the shape of my Avid Juicies. How do you reckon they compare Cy?

p.s. do you only have them in 160mm? I was after a 180mm front....

They're much more like the Shimano lever shape. I've never used Juicys so couldn't say. They're broader than a Hope lever, that's for sure. Quite short too, which I like as I 1-finger brake so didn't end up running them miles inboard to get them into a good position.

Rotors-wise, we've got some 180mm louise rotors which I'm sure we could switch onto them for you.

404 - £49 per brake.

Okey doke. Hope you keep your job. Much more important than bike bits!! Oh, and sorry this thread turned into a sales pitch. I only mentioned we had stock because your man up there said nowhere had them.
