[#3816957]

Currently running a 454 Pike Coil U-Turn - and although it's nice that it's very stiff, it's also a bit on the weighty side, and would like to move to a air based fork.

I'm going to put it on a BFe, so steerer needs to be 1 1/8th - personally I think the sweet spot for the BFe is about 120mm, so if it's a non-adjustable fork then this would be the desired length.

I've been looking at Revs at on-one, but not sure they can be internally lowered down to 120: http://www.on-one.co.uk/i/q/FORSREVRLTDA/rockshox_revelation_rlt_dual_air_150mm_suspension_fork

Any other options?

I can recommed the fusion velvets i just got a set and they are fantastic i have owned dt swiss forks, rockshox and currently own a set of fox rl aswell and the x fusion are up there in terms of quality and performance they are also super stiff and plush out of the box.

No silly service intervals either great fork for the money. I know you can get rebas for same money but warranty is shorter on rockshox and i cannot stand that bloody pop lock !

I'm looking at Rev's at the moment to replace my reba's as the tyre clearance is pretty tight on them.

I know some of the Rev's can be reduced to 120mm but I have no idea which ones...

I have just put some maxle 120mm reba's on my bfe and they are the business, nice and light and plenty stiff!

I was changing the length of travel of my sid 120's the other day and the instructions were common to revs too so I guess it would be ok.

You'll be able to space down dual air revs like any other RS, if you get the right spacers.

Not sure there's actually any more tyre clearance though, might be worth measuring/checking?

I have spaced down some 140mm Pikes (Dual Air) to 120mm. Tyre clearance for 2.7" tyres.

Hmmm, looks like Reba's might be an option - is there much of a difference between these and Revs? other than travel? strength, quality etc?

I can't compare to revs, but my 120mm rebas compared to my old pikes are a nicer fork. Lighter, no less stiff and feel nicer in use with the newer blackbox damping.
