Hi all,

I'm in need of a bike for about £100, around 17" and in working order, has anyone got anything lying around or know anyone with something they don't need anymore.

Cheers Pudding.

MTB, sorry should've mentioned that was trying not to be too specific as i know £100 isn't very much to play with!

Bad luck. Just sold an scruffy but functional Kona for that sort of cash. Keep asking, there's plenty of bikes out there too old for fashion but not "classic". Check Adtrader.

I have a Carrera Fury built up as a singlespeed that I use for commuting.
Sprayed black and understated to the thieves at bay.

Yorkshire Pudding (or anyone), I have a 2000/2001 Scott G-Zero Pro, 80mm full suss, SIDs, XT brakes (note v-brakes), gears and chainset, XTR rear der. Frame and forks have IS disc mounts. Good - full working order and new pivot bearings from Moose Cycles last year and hardly used since. Bad - ding on down tube, probably the size of a penny but I'm very heavy and it's not been an issue on Leith/Pitch Hill, etc.

Almost forgot - it's a medium, which I guess is about 17 inches. In the office but pics tonight if you're interested.

Cheers

Thanks for all your offers definately interested in the 17" kona and maybe the Scott if you can send me some pics, the singlespeed isn't what I'm looking for and the 19" will be too big.

Cheers Pudding
