This is how big of a gap there is between the caliper and IS adaptor....
The frame did come with two spacers which are quite thick, and equal to the DMR swopout dropout width from what it should compensate (as far as i understand).
However I would need 4 of these spacers to fit two bolts through in this case. Where can I get them from?? Am I doing this wrong?
On kinesis website it shows the dropouts being fit the exact way I have done, but I could fit the on the outside instead of inside, which would mean only two spacers would be required. However then the frame is forced together, and would probably miss-align the brakes.
HELP! ๐
P.S I also need some decent chain tugs, anyone can recommend? I have a standard QR axle. Or should I not bother and use the vertical dropouts + buy tensioner??
Looks like you'll need more spacers to compensate for the depth of the dropout, centering the rotor in the caliper (looks like only one piston has moved) will also help.
cheers coatesy - any ideas where they sell them?
Also I just realized getting decent QR chain tugs would cost more than getting a tensioner and use the vertical dropouts... Is there a lot of chain slapping when using a tensioner instead of chain tug?
Or space the disc out?
Give me a shout after 9.30 tomorrow and I'll check our spares drawers, almost certain we have some thick ones in there. 02920371321
Thanks mate, will give you a ring.
Anybody can recommend to go with a chain tensioner or chain tug (surly tuggnut)? Would like to order today and get it over with.

YGM will come over tomorrow and sort it for you!
